Should students take up fine arts as a subject in their O/A levels?

When we talk about O and A levels we are talking about an internationally recognized prestigious degree awarded to students of grade nine till eleven (O levels) and twelve to thirteen (A levels). There is hence, a wide variety of subjects that the Cambridge International Examinations offer to students around the globe. They include and range from the sciences: physics, chemistry to the business related subjects: economics, accounts and fine arts subjects. There is no doubt that students opt more for the science and business related subjects instead of subjects like fine arts in their O and A levels. The question arises in their minds; why should students take up fine arts as a subject in their O and A levels?

Though most would think that fine arts as a subject in O and A levels does not require effort or any real work, that is far from the truth. Fine arts as a subject in O and A levels requires as much effort as a science or business subject, in fact maybe even more.

Therefore, as has been discussed, students should take up fine arts as a subject in their O and A levels because it has a lot of benefits and no downfall for them. All it will take up is extra time which is a small cost to pay for the various benefits fine arts in O and A levels offers.
