Facebook's parent company, Meta, has also stepped up its game in the race against giants like ChatGPT and Google BERT, unveiling its own chatbot system. As per details, Meta has introduced its AI system in competition with ChatGPT. The Large Language Model (LLM) based on Lama2 will be made available to the public for free, for both commercial and research purposes. Meta made the announcement of this system during a Microsoft event, revealing its partnership with Microsoft for AI models.

It should be noted that Large Language Models, including GPT-3, are being used for chatbots like ChatGPT and Google BERT. Microsoft had previously licensed Bing Search from ChatGPT through AI technology. Now, the company has partnered with Meta, which will provide access to Lama2 via Windows and Azure AI. Meta also revealed that free and open-source Large Language Models are more secure as they undergo extensive observation by experts and developers, aiding in identifying and resolving issues. This is in contrast to ChatGPT or Google BERT, which are not open-source AI chatbots.

Qualcomm, too, is collaborating with Meta to integrate Lama2 AI into smartphones and computers. The company's statement mentioned that this collaboration will take place next year, and users will have ample opportunities to use intelligent virtual assistants and creative tools.
