The last two months have been crucial to students due to the closure of schools and universities to stop spread of Corona virus. The fear of the spared forced the governments across the world to shut down schools as the first step of fight against the virus. The closure of schools at a time when the schools were either preparing for final exams or starting new educational sessions.

This decision put the schools and students in a situation where they did not have any other option to continue academic year except via online classes. In Pakistan the schools are now stopping online classes as the parents are unable to keep up with them. Parents are more focused on textbook teaching and they want to teach their children through textbooks.

On the other hand, schools have been trying to keep educational process going on through various activities which students had to upload on their Google classrooms. Since both parents are children are staying indoors due to the lockdown, it is a rare time for family to spend time together.

With no tutors available children refuse to follow a study schedule at home. They want to take advantage of this free time and do things on their own. In such a case schools had been receiving poor response on the lessons they kept articaling online. The other reason is that schools are deciding to reopen as soon as the lockdown is lifted.

The period of lockdown will be considered as summer vacation and the students will go to school during the months taken as usual summer holidays previously. This is a good sign as things are expected to get back to normal.
