We will not revolt against humans, robots assure

Geneva: Robots presented on an artificial intelligence forum have assured that they will not revolt against humans or take away their jobs.

On Friday, the world's first conference involving humans and robots took place in Geneva.

The conference called "AI for Good" saw the participation of humanoid robots. Organizers presented artificial intelligence and the robots' potential to address major global issues such as hunger and disease.

Clad in a blue nurse uniform, a medical robot named Grace stated during the conference that she will work alongside humans to provide assistance and not replace them.

Ben Goertzel, who is involved with the SingularityNET network and the creator of Grace, asked her if she could say that with confidence, to which Grace responded in the affirmative.

Another robot named Amica, known for its expressive face, expressed that robots like itself can be used to improve human lives and make the world a better place.
