An even smaller gadget is the Galaxy SmartTag, a locator that uses Bluetooth 5.0 LE for operation. And since the locator, it is not particularly difficult to guess that it can be especially useful for people who sometimes forget where different items are left.

The first thing that comes to mind is attaching it to the keys, because they are considered to be an object that likes to "disappear". Of course, this is not the only way to use the Galaxy SmartTag, everyone may have different needs. There is nothing to prevent the locator from securing a purse or on the collar of a pet.

How it's working? The functionality of the Galaxy SmartTag can be divided into three groups - finding nearby items, helping to find lost things somewhere far away, and supporting a smart home. Not bad, right?

In the first case, just touch the bell button in the smartphone application and then follow the sound. When the lost is not nearby, you can view the location history showing where the Galaxy SmartTag was and thus track it. Here, however, you have to remember that it only works on devices from the Galaxy family. When it comes to smart home, the Galaxy SmartTag can be used to control, for example, lighting (registered in the SmartThings application).

The very design of the Galaxy SmartTag is not surprising, but probably no one is expecting any revolution in this case. The tracker weighs only 13 g and is available in two different colors, as well as in a package containing two copies.

It is worth noting that the manufacturer has provided a handle that allows easy attachment to, for example, keys. Apparently nothing like that, but if you look at the competing models and the prices of additional key rings or bands, you can appreciate this design.
