The Google Pixel 7 Pro has bad sound, how to balance its speakers?
Pixel 7 Pro, Google Pixel 7 Pro,smartphone speakers, bad sound,

Google's Pixel 7 Pro speaker stereo scene isn't good. There is, however, a way to correct things a bit.

If the Pixel 7 Pro turns out to be a very good smartphone, it does not escape some imperfections or flaws. In addition to its screen which melts the autonomy when it is too much in the sun, it is its audio part which also disappointed us. We are not talking about Bluetooth here, but about Google's smartphone speakers. While those of the iPhone 14 Pro or the Oppo Find X5 Pro immerse the user in its sound content “ ‹‹especially in films or series -, the Pixel 7 Pro offers a slightly unbalanced sound experience. Blame it on the use of two different speakers. The one on the upper edge only broadcasts highs and mids. The bass only comes from the bottom speaker.

How to correct the balance of the Google Pixel 7 Pro?

We then have a blatant sound imbalance when using the Pixel 7 Pro in landscape mode. In use, it is quite annoying. Let's add that the balance is not well adjusted either. It seems that the volume is higher on the bottom speaker.

If we cannot restore more depth to the speaker placed at the top of the screen, it is possible to correct the balance via the Android settings.

To manage this, go to the device settings:

  • go to the Accessibility section.
  • in the audio part open the Sound Adjustment section.
  • there you access the audio balance.

adjust while playing sound content so that the sound seems balanced between the two speakers. To avoid being fooled by stereo, you can switch to mono on the same menu.

This small adjustment does not change the face of the world, but makes it possible to rebalance the sound channels of the Pixel 7 Pro a bit and to be able to use it more comfortably in speaker mode.
