It is worth considering what we reach for in summer more willingly - for shop ice cream or strawberries? Do we prefer watermelon or flavored water? In most cases, we choose what is easier for us to buy in the form of a finished product. Unfortunately, however, they do not always have a healthy composition. Sweets and ice cream in most cases are sweetened with glucose-fructose syrup, they have the addition of palm oil, dyes and preservatives. And yet the advantages of using seasonal fruit and vegetables are plenty! We only need 5 minutes to create healthy, colorful, summer snacks at home, which we will eat not only as part of a dessert, but also successfully take with us on a holiday trip or picnic. We have prepared a few recipes for summer delicacies (not only for cooling!).
Homemade Peach Ice Cream:
Milk - 100 ml
Banana - 1 piece
Peaches - 5 pieces
Peel the fruit and remove the stones from the peaches. We mix everything together with milk until homogenous. Put them into ice cream containers and put them in the freezer, preferably overnight. Healthy homemade ice cream is ready!
Salad:
Spinach - 2 large handfuls
Strawberries, cut into quarters - 1 cup
Avocado - ½ pieces
Sunflower seeds - 2 tbsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Wash the spinach and strawberries. Put it into a bowl and add diced avocado and sunflower seeds. We pour olive oil.
Yoghurt Cake with Strawberries:
Corn flour - 200 g
Eggs - 3 pieces
Natural yogurt - 200 g
Xylitol / stevia - 70 g

Baking powder - 1 tsp
Soda - 1 tsp
Olive oil / rapeseed oil - 30 g
All ingredients are mixed until homogeneous. Pour into a springform pan with a diameter of 24 cm. Press the strawberries on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes at 180 degrees.
Watermelon lemonade:
Still mineral water - 1.5 l
Watermelon - ½ pieces
Lemon - 1 piece
Mint - any amount
Peel the watermelon from the skin, if there are seeds in it, remove them. We mix. Put the watermelon into a large jug, add water and the juice squeezed from one lemon. We can throw in a few mint leaves.
Let's also remember about hydration!
The average amount of fluids a person should drink is 1.5-2 liters a day. However, remember to increase this amount with increasing temperature and increased physical exertion. The warmer it is outside, the easier we can dehydrate.
Signs of dehydration:

Feeling thirsty - when we feel thirsty it means that our body is already dehydrated.
