Special Education will soon be presenting standard books on sign language

Sources close to the National Institute for Special Education (NISE) suggest that the organization will introduce sign language books for people with hearing loss within six months.

An employee is quoted

"Stakeholders such as deaf people, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and sign language experts from all over the province are actively involved in fulfilling the role of books with or without sign language."

The process of developing universal guidelines was carried out by NISE in 2019-2020 to support people with special needs who can participate in academic programs or enroll through future academic forces in the country.

After in-depth discussion, it was suggested that NISE decide to develop a uniform book on sign language, as the way deaf children are educated is different across Pakistan.

Language models such as pronunciation and language have been identified as key areas for academic adaptation and new sign language books will meet this need.
