Quetta Gladiators' captain, Rilee Rossouw, showered praise on Saud Shakeel for his outstanding contribution in their team's victory over Peshawar Zalmi during the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

In a high-scoring match, Jason Roy and Saud Shakeel orchestrated a spectacular opening partnership of 157 runs, dominating Peshawar Zalmi's bowlers. Saud Shakeel played a pivotal role, scoring a brilliant 74 off 47 deliveries, adorned with ten boundaries and four sixes.
