OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G goes on sale. Will it demolish the middle shelf?

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is the latest smartphone from an affordable series of the Chinese manufacturer, which was to strengthen its position among mid-range smartphones. The device made its debut in India, tempting with a decent specification and low prices. It will go to Europe in March.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G has appeared in the manufacturer's announcements for some time, its specification was also known, so there is no big surprise. The device had its premiere in India, where it will be available from February 23, but soon it will also be available for mass sale around the world. In Europe, we will see them on March 10.

The phone draws attention with a small thickness of 7.8 mm, so it is one of the flattest models of the OnePlus brand. There is room for stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm audio jack on the housing.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is equipped with a Fluid AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.43 inches and Full HD + resolution. It also has a 90 Hz refresh rate, and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The screen has a fingerprint reader.

The power to work is provided by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset (6 nm, cores up to 2.4 GHz, Mali-G68 MC4 graphics), which is helped by the 6 GB and 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM. UFS 2.2 mass memory has 128 GB, there is also space for a 1 TB microSD memory card.

In addition to the integrated 5G modem (bands 1/3/5/8/40/41/77/78) in Dual SIM, the smartphone provides 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB-C.

Three camera eyes on the back of the housing cover cameras: main 64 Mpix (f / 1.79), wide-angle 8 Mpix (119 °, f / 2.2) and 2 Mpix macro (f / 2.4). In the screen cutout in the upper left corner there is a 16 Mpix selfie camera (Sony IMX471, f / 2.4).

The undoubted advantage of OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is the Super VOOC fast charging with a power of 65 W, which will power the 4500 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 32 minutes.
