The new One UI 4.1 overlay appeared with the Galaxy S22. Owners of older models can count on the update. Which smartphones will receive One UI 4.0?

Samsung, presenting the flagship versions of its smartphones, often releases improved versions of its One UI overlay. It was no different in the case of smartphones from the Galaxy S22 family. Koreans last year presented the One UI 4.0 overlay based on Android 12. A few months later - in February - One UI 4.1 was presented - the development version of the One UI 4.0 overlay.

The manufacturer has already announced that One UI 4.1 will be released as a software update for older smartphones from the Galaxy family.

Samsung has not yet released the upgrade roadmap to One UI 4.1. We expect the update process to be completed by September 2022. Then Android 13 will appear on the market, and Samsung will present the next version of the overlay - One UI 5.0.
