Most countries in the world still do not have proper access to the internet or most of their population does not lie in the area where they can be put under cellular signal. This means that a large chunk of the population will not be able to attend online classes even if their school allows them to do so. Moreover, the fact that most parents are tech illiterate and students do not pay heed or any proper attention to online classes, there is a high chance that these classes will be taken advantage of and that children will not actually learn anything in most cases. In the case of higher educational institutions, online education makes sense as by that time students are generally smart and capable and understand the implications of their own actions.

When it comes to younger kids however, online education still does not seem like a viable alternative as there is no check and balance between the teacher and the student which was an act that was always focused upon greatly in terms of physical education.
