Game premieres in June 2021

The previous year in gaming can be regarded as definitely good. We have received such successful titles as Demon's Souls, Control, Microsoft Flight Simulator, DOOM Eternal, Wasteland 3, Assassin's Creed Valhalla or the bugged, but by no means contemptible, Cyberpunk 2077. Game premieres  It seems that 2021 should not be average when it comes to about gaming. Already in January, we received a very good version of Agent 47's adventures. February brought no less good Little Nightmares II, and owners of PCs and PS5 received a remaster of NiOh 2. In March, fans of war strategies were happy, because FireFly Studios gave them a good game entitled Stronghold: Lords of War. Gaming April was welcomed by Polish, though unfortunately not very successful, Outriders. However, May brought a lot of consolation and nostalgia with Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and many horror fans danced merrily with vampires in Resident Evil Village. And what is June 2021 in store for us?

Necromunda: Hired Gun

Release date: June 1, 2021

Platform: PC, PS4, XONE, PS5, XSX

Producer: Streum on Studio

Genre: Action, FPS, science fiction

The first major production we will play at the very beginning of June is a dynamic shooter, the action of which takes place in the well-known and popular Warhammer 40,000 universe. The title is responsible for the Streum studio, which has such successful productions as E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy or Space Hulk: Deathwing. This time, the developers will allow us to play as a mercenary equipped with Cyber-Mastiff. The background of our adventures is not, in this case, one of the many conflicts between the intelligent races of the 41st millennium, which is characteristic of this universe. As a "gun for hire" we will undertake tasks unrelated to this conflict, and we will plunge into the criminal underworld of the planet Necromunda, ruled by brutal gangs. The game may bring to mind the DOOM franchise. All because of the relentless hordes of enemies and insanely energetic gameplay. So let's not expect a sublime plot, but a game focused on raising pressure and thousands of headshots.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2

Release date: June 4, 2021

Platform: PC, PS4, XONE, PS5, XSX

Developer: CI Games / City Interactive

Genre: Action, FPS, Tactical

It was 2007, when City Interactive produced a rather poor game called Sniper: The Art of Winning. However, the developers were not demotivated by the cool reception by the players and three years later we got a really decent sniper game - Sniper: Ghost Warrior. It was basically the beginning of a series that may not have fallen in love with millions of fans around the world, but the scale of interest in it was enough for the developers to decide on the next installment in 2021. And so in the title of Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 we will go to the Middle East to overthrow the criminal syndicate that ruled there. Playing the role of a professional contract sniper, we must eliminate the key units for this organization in order to gradually weaken its ranks, and over time to overthrow it. The game will allow you to play on five large maps with 20 main contracts and many side missions. There are plenty of tactics in the game - each of the victims can also be eliminated in various ways.

Tunguska: The Visitation

Release date: June 4, 2021

Platform: PC

Producer: Rotorist Workshop

Genre: Action, artical-apocalypse, survival, isometric projection

We still have no idea when we are going to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Fortunately, there are several games on the horizon inspired by this universe, such as the recently announced MMORPG entitled Pioner, or the indie game debuting in June entitled Tunguska: The Visitation. Unlike the above-mentioned productions, this time we are dealing with a survival action game in isometric projection. It will take us to an alternative reality, in which the vicinity of the place where the alleged meteorite hits have turned into a radiation-contaminated zone. So we are dealing with a artical-apocalyptic world full of ruins, mutant monsters and unwholes who want to take advantage of unstable circumstances to get rich easily. Therefore, in the world of Tunguska: The Visitation, there are many hostile factions that the main character will have to face. However, we are not only going to fight but also to make moral choices. Survival aspects have also been implemented in the game.

Edge of Eternity

Release date: June 8, 2021

Platform: PC

Developer: Midgar Studio

Genre: jRPG, science fiction, turn-based

Are there any jRPG fans here? If so, that's good, because it looks like a very nice title representing this genre. And even if Japanese erpegs have not been in your circle of interest so far, perhaps you will be convinced by the fact that Edge of Eternity combines elements of medieval style, steampunk and turn-based fights. And although the game created on the Unity engine does not present breathtaking graphics, people who have been playing in early access for over two years praise it for an interesting plot, mechanics or a generally noteworthy atmosphere. The story in the game focuses on the fate of the world of Heryon, who, after years of peace, stood on the brink of destruction due to an attack by an alien civilization. The invaders spread chaos and death with a mysterious virus that turns people and animals into metal monsters. Only one person, a young farmer named Daryon, decides to stand up to his mortal enemy. On his own, he embarks on a lonely crusade, trying to save the world and discover his true destiny. Of course, the player himself will jump into Daryon's shoes.

The Universim

Release date: June 15, 2021

Platform: PC

Developer: Crytivo Games

Genre: RTS, economical

Are you not fed up with strategies where the main goal is to develop a small society to become global? That's good, because in June we will not only get a chance to transform a small tribe into a global empire, but even into a galactic empire! The game starts in the Stone Age. By conducting research on new technologies, we shape the development of society, right up to the age of star conquest. During the aforementioned exploration of space, we discover many alien planets and we must carefully check each of them before starting colonization, because neglect of research may have disastrous consequences for the colonists. The game is enriched by numerous dynamic events, such as natural disasters, alien visits or epidemics. Space exploration seems extremely interesting, but that doesn't mean that the other, more down-to-earth elements will be boring. The game will not run out of building cities, gathering resources or creating a healthy, well-functioning economy.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance

Release date: June 22, 2021

Platform: PC, PS4, XONE, PS5, XSX

Developer: Tuque Games

Genre: action RPG, fantasy, co-op

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is an action RPG that will take us on a journey to a fantastic universe known as Forgotten Lands. The main character of this production is the famous Drizzt Do'Urden, a dark elf that players could meet in the first two installments of the Baldur's Gate series and the game Forgotten Realms: Demons Stone. The protagonist, side by side with the other brave Companions of the Hall, confronts the forces of evil, trying to repel their invasion of the Icewind Valley. In Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance we observe the action from a third person perspective, the authors provide us with four playable characters, different in terms of fighting style and combat skills. The game consists of a series of missions in which we travel through various locations and perform tasks, as well as eliminate hordes of opponents. The clashes are invariably very dynamic, and when sending enemies to the "other side of the mirror", we must first of all show dexterity and reflexes. No less important is the skillful use of the controlled character's abilities.
