However, availability of resources and facility management in the area needs to be improved a lot. With very basic hotels, a little effort is made to keep the area clean. As more and more visitors are coming to this place each year, Fairy Meadows is getting polluted rapidly. Reaching Fairy Meadows requires jeep travel.

Visitors hire jeeps at Raikot Bridge as the track leading gets narrower after every couple of minutes, people hire services of expert drivers who are used to driving on those winding roads. Jeep track ends around near Tattu village and visitors walk on foot from there on.  After walking for around 3 hours, one reaches the Fairy Land. This place is so beautiful and serene that one wonders such a place could exist on earth.

On reaching Fairy Meadows, the whole effort seems worth it. The scenic view of Nanga Parbat with clouds hiding its peak is so mesmerizing that it gives the viewers great feeling of joy. Visitors book lovely wooden huts or some go for camping to experience something unusual. At night, people enjoy bonfires while local people perform famous Attan for the visitors. Attan is special dance of Gilgit area. A bonfire along with the sight of Nanga Parbat in a starry night is certainly lifetime experience.

Although visitors fee that food is a bit expensive yet, the quality is good and is worth the money spent. A worth-seeing view at Fairy Meadows is the reflection of enormous mountain of Nanga Parbat in the water of lake.
