Facebook behind TikTok

China's video-sharing app TikTok has snatched the title of the world's most downloaded app from Facebook.

According to the results of the 2020 Global Survey on Downloads, TikTok is ahead of Facebook.

In 2018, the company that publishes the new research report on social media is releasing data. That it launched in 2017, it features leading apps from around the world, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

All of these apps are owned by Facebook, the report also revealed that the Chinese app has managed to surpass all these apps in the United States in their own country.
