Education Minister Punjab Tested Positive after Corona virus test

Minister of Education in Punjab, Dr. Murad Raas, tested positive for the corona virus and advised anyone who contacted him to do the test too.

On Monday he tweeted , "I have tested positive for COVID 19. I would like the people that have come in contact with me in the past few days during meetings to get tested. May Allah protect all of you."

The number of coronaviruses in the country has risen to 564,077 after 1,048 people tested positive for the new virus in the past 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the coronavirus has claimed 26 more lives in the past 24 hours. The death toll in the country is now 12,333.

A total of 32,019 tests were conducted nationwide, for a total of 8,466,117 tests conducted. Currently 25,747 active cases of COVID-19. Meanwhile, 910 people have also recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. 525,997 people have recovered from the deadly disease since it broke out in Pakistan last year.

Murad Rass is a Pakistani politician who is the current Provincial Minister of Punjab for School Education, in office since 27 August 2018. He has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since August 2018. Previously he was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from May 2013 to May 2018.
