The second largest video game maker in the United States has also announced that it will expel Russian teams from FIFA and NHL22.

According to a foreign news agency, Russia was banned by several sports federations after the invasion of Ukraine, after which the Electronics Arts (EA) Sports Video Games Company also announced the expulsion of Russian teams.

EA Sports wrote on the social networking site Twitter that the company has decided to exclude Russian teams in the FIFA 22 and National Hockey League 22 titles.

"We stand with the people of Ukraine and pray for peace in the world of football and an end to the invasion of Ukraine," the EA said in a tweet expressing solidarity with Ukraine.
