Bollywood disco legend Bappi Lahiri has died and left the world at the age of 69

The hospital's director Dr Deepak Namjushi told Press  that Bappi Lahiri had been in the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday.

Famous Indian musician and singer Bappi Lahiri has passed away at the age of 69.

According to Indian News Channel NDTV, he passed away at Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The hospital's director Dr Deepak Namjushi told Press  that Lahiri had been in the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. However, his condition worsened on Tuesday, forced his family to call a doctor. He has later taken to hospital. Bappi Lahiri suffered from a number of ailments.

Bappi Lahiri has said to have introduced disco music in India and has also named Bollywood rock star.

He sang many popular songs in the 1970s and 1980s, including "Walking" and "Disco Dancer".

The last song he sang for Bollywood it  was 2020 and the film was  'Baaghi'.He was last seen on screen in Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss 15. In April last year, Lahiri was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai with the corona virus. However, he recovered within a few days.
