AR applications: interesting training with new technologies

Teachers' interest in modern technologies is well-founded: digitalization of education simplifies the presentation of complex material, facilitates the process of memorization and motivates children to study harder. And these are not empty assumptions, but facts verified in practice. AR applications: interesting training with new technologies.

Let's talk to you about one of the trending educational technologies - augmented reality (AR - augmented reality). It is a relatively new tool for education. And although it cannot and should not completely replace the teaching methods that have existed for many years, but it can qualitatively complement learning: make it more accessible, simpler and more interesting.

Modernity is so dynamic that sometimes we just do not have time to marvel at new technologies and curiosities. Something new and unusual is constantly appearing in all areas of our lives, and education, fortunately, is no exception! There are so many new methods and techniques that sometimes it is even difficult to choose the best among them. How to make a choice? For starters - learn more about interesting tricks and methods! And you can do it from our new course "Effective learning: tools for teachers."

Briefly about AR

Did you use augmented reality? You will be surprised, but most likely so. Masks in Instagram and Messenger (Facebook) are also AR. This is a modern technology that complements the image of the real world with virtual elements and allows you to interact with them. With AR technology, virtual objects can be integrated into the material world: the camera captures the real world and complements it with virtual objects. Such applications work with three-dimensional models, texts, images, videos and animations.

AR-applications that can be integrated into learning

All AR applications we have chosen are free. And the principle of working with each of them is clear on an intuitive level. They can be used both during classes (clarity) and as an interesting addition to homework. This can be creating stories using AR objects, capturing video from a smartphone screen that can be added to a project or presentation, and more. The imagination of educators and students knows no bounds, so create and supplement classes with new technologies!
